What to Wear: Cocktail Attire

The weather in Gembrook is typically warm and sunny with temperatures in the mid to high 20's in March/April but at night it can cool down quickly and temperatures drop to around 14 degrees. So you can expect a sunny afternoon but be prepared in case it rains and for the cooler temperatures when the sun goes down.

Gifts

Your presence is all that is required as a gift, especially those coming from overseas, however if you still wish to give a gift there will also be a wishing well available on the day.

Parking Area

There is ample parking on the site so you can park on site if you wish. There is also parking at the Gilwell Park Scout camp if you are staying for the after party.

Food & Drinks

Food and drinks will be provided on the day, since the ceremony is on the same location as the reception we will walk over to the barn and have some fun. You will be provided with some small canapes and drinks while we get some pictures taken and then we'll all have a sit down meal together.

Gilwell Park Scout Camp

We have booked accommodation at Gilwell Park Scout Camp for anyone that would like to join us. The plan is that when the reception finishes everyone who wants to stay can walk with us next door to have a bit of a party and lay their head when they want.

This accommodation is $70 per night with linen and towel provided. We have booked two lodges on the property and each lodge has multiple rooms with single beds and bunk beds available. So each family/couple will have a private room where you can close the door and there are multiple bathrooms in each lodge which are shared.

Between the two lodges there is the capacity to sleep 75 people in total so it is open to all who wish to stay. Please indicate if you would like to stay in your RSVP. The accommodation is also available the Friday night before the wedding if you want to join us and make a weekend of it. For those who do not fancy the single bed in the Scout Camp there are other accommodation options around Gembrook that you are free to explore.
